Episode 24: Mark Stevens and Joe Bowker

Happy US Open week. I am all in on Rickie Fowler.
This episode features Mark Stevens and Joe Bowker who teamed up earlier this week and won the NHGA 4 ball championship at Owl's Nest. (I also played in the event but was never a threat!). I talk with Mark and Joe about their earliest golf memories and how quickly they both got addicted to the game. We discuss their win this week, how they approached the event and some strategy on a couple of the holes.

Episode 23: Jeremy Duhamel

This episode features Jeremy Duhamel who is fresh off a win this past weekend at Baker Hill in the NHGA Players Invitational. Episode 22: Josh Beer and Hooper Golf Course

This episode features Josh Beer who tells us the story of Hooper Golf Course (Walpole, NH) and why it has become one of the top-ranked 9 hole courses in the country. Josh grew up near the course and worked with many other community members a few years ago to purchase the course and revitalize it. We talk about the routing and what makes it so special. Episode 20: Dana Harrity

Ep. 20 features Dana Harrity, one of the most accomplished and decorated golfers in New Hampshire history. She has won 16 state am championships over a 32 year period and has competed in 30 USGA events. We discuss some of her wins, her love of competition and the credit she gives her husband, Peter (see Ep. 13), for making her a better golfer.

Episode 19: Harvin Groft

I was excited to talk with Harvin. We both play at The Oaks and when I first joined there I kept hearing things about what a great player he is and as you will hear, what a nice and thoughtful person he is. We discuss his early years in junior golf and his time playing on the Penn State team. We then talk about his time away from golf and what it was like to pick up a club again. We talked about some of his wins in NH and success he has had at the US Mid-Am. I loved hearing how Harvin approaches the mental part of the game and the lessons we can take from that to our lives away from golf. We also spend some time talking about why The Oaks is one of the best tests of golf in New Hampshire.
